Anna Lau
Anna S. Lau, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Lau’s research addresses a range of topics related to three broad themes: mental health disparities and services research, the dissemination and implementation of evidence based treatments for ethnic minority youth and families, and translational research that informs intervention development for ethnic minority youth and families.

Jasper Estabillo
Jasper A. Estabillo, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the UCLA Department of Psychology. On the TEAMS study, she is the UCLA Site Manager and an AIM HI Trainer. She received her doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology from Louisiana State University and completed her predoctoral internship at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience & Human Behavior in the Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities track. She has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of research and clinical settings, and she has extensive training and experience in applied behavior analysis.

Jennifer Symon
Jennifer Symon, PhD, BCBA-D received her doctorate in Educational Psychology, holds a M.A degree in Special Education, Disabilities and Risk Studies, and a M.A. degree in Child Development. Dr. Symon will serve as a trainer for the TEAMS study in the Los Angeles area. She will be responsible for providing on-going training in CPRT. Dr. Symon has prior experience as a Principal Investigator of federally funded grants at California State University, Los Angeles. Those projects included providing specialized training and certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders to general and special educators and related personnel. Dr. Symon has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the delivery of empirically supported interventions, including Pivotal Response training, in classrooms, homes, and community settings and has published her findings in peer reviewed journals.

Casandra Gomez Alvarado
Casandra J. Gomez Alvarado received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Casandra is currently a project coordinator for the TEAMS Study and the 4KEEPS Study under Dr. Ana Lau. She previously worked in the Culture and Anxiety Lab for Mental Health Advances (CALMA) under Dr. Denise Chavira and in the Social Affective Neuroscience and Development (SAND) Lab under Dr. Jennifer Silvers. Casandra intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology to increase the effectiveness and accessibility of mental health services for youth from underserved and at-risk communities. During her free time she enjoys dancing, music and spending time with friends and family.
